OUR PASSION

We have been developing innovative additives for traffic route construction for years, and in doing so, the objective has changed significantly over time.

While the focus was initially placed on classic soil stabilisation works, interest in sustainable solutions for the rehabilitation of traffic routes has grown over the years.

We take this into account when formulating our latest NT BASE additive products. We continue to see ourselves as fundamentally committed to sustainability, especially when it comes to the conservation of resources, which is being realised in particular by our way of doing construction.

For public and private clients, we offer solutions to implement economically and ecologically sensible infrastructure measures that make use of already existing building materials.

We do this by supporting you with our know-how from the very moment a project starts to when it ends.

FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

In many places, existing resources are being used far beyond their ability to regenerate. Our environment is being put under immense strain due to the excessive consumption of raw materials in the areas of infrastructure and mobility. It is important to reconcile marketbased decisions with environmental concerns.

As our company logo demonstrates, corent AG is committed to both the environment and the economy. And this commitment isn’t just mere rhetoric either when it comes to the use of our NT products!

A catchphrase we’ve repeatedly come across for quite some time now is ‘carbon footprint’.

A carbon footprint is based on a calculation of emissions and describes the amount of greenhouse gases released by an activity, process or action. All products have a carbon footprint. It measures the combined emissions generated by a particular product ‒ all the way from when it is manufactured and used to when it is recycled and disposed.

The American economist Peter Drucker once said: ‘If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it.’ In order to do this, we work with the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics and carry out a life cycle assessment (LCA) of our innovative construction method in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14040 and 14044 for when NT BASE products are used in contrast to standard construction methods.

This assessment analyses the potential environmental, economic and technical impact of NT BASE products over the structure’s entire lifetime. As such, we offer clients key factors to consider when making long-term decisions regarding what option to select to carry out their infrastructure measures and thus lay the foundation for sustainable construction.
